At night of 3 September, there will be a start of match of Texas Football Season‘s University against Rice. The ESPN’s Longhorn Network also makes a Texas Football’s debut. Unfortunately, if you are one among students of the Texas University or you are staying in the Austin Area and being a fan, you are not allowed to see the game when you don’t have a ticket. In the Austin Area, no major cable providers have reached an agreement with Longhorn Network in order to have a broadcast of match. At the early time, an agreement was reached by a small local cable provider.
Generally, most people in the area could not watch the match and they did not know whether how many students had joint the game. Only a few homes in the Austin area are being connected with old network, and it isn’t surprised. The network as well as capable provider will have a negotiation about the cost or fee of subscribers until one or both of them get desperation. According to longhorn fans, the university of Texas and ESPN would search for a good solution to solve the problem and bring the important target customers with good service.
Since the beginning, there has been a great controversy coming along the Longhorn Network, and it may have a big 12 conference’s further break-up. In the most important market, first game of Longhorn is not available. Still, some people have wondered that whether the University of Texas and ESPN have been regretting their new 20-year-old partnership which is $300 million.
