On Thursday of call conference, New Chief executive officer, Leo Aptheker said that their WebOS devices were not enough in order to complete the needs of consumers in the market place. Because of “significant competition”, there was a drop in number of Hp tablet.

He also reported that making tablet computer and Smartphones will be stopped by the HP Company by October. Moreover, Autonomy Corp, business software marker will be bought by the company as its plan. In the cost of $10 billion, it is the biggest expansion in 72 years history of HP. According to Michael Thacker, HP’s corporate officer, told that the company is exploring alternatives strategy for Personal Systems Group.

The strategic alternatives can be done within 12 to 18 months. There is no immediate change to current PSG business, which includes sales, support, manufacturing, and other operation still keep activating in place. The largest technology company by profit, HP, has sold continuously other equipments and servers to consumers of business, and they gain higher margin of profit. New CEO, Apotheker hasn’t mentioned about job abandonment. However, some analysts report that Hp is getting out of the PC business and freeing up resources to business products and services of consultant. In 2010, the HP center in Conway started and there are currently over 1,200 employees working in the center. Employment and operation in HP center will stay at the same rate.
