Prime Minister Hun SenIt is the first time of Prime Minister Hun Sen to travel to the Middle East for oil-rich Kuwait , intended to enlarge commerce and trade ties.

Prime Minister Hun Sen was escorted by a lot of high-ranking government officials and business people when he made a trip for four days by plane offered by Kuwait .

Mr. Hor Namhong, the Foreign Minister, told reporters that this travel could develop the ties between Cambodia and Kuwait , and also between Cambodia with other countries in the Middle of the east.

The Minister said that during the travel, officials planned to sign agreements of Kuwaiti technical donation to create several parts such as hydro-power plant, irrigation systems and streets in the developed Southeast Asian country.

Kuwaiti Prime Minister, Sheikh Nasser Mohammed al-Ahmed al-Sabah traveled to Cambodia to sign business agreements last August, as Phnom Penh is also looking for the land-renting agreements with Kuwait .

Kuwait offered Cambodia a 546-million-dollar for agricultural loan in August in order to do the crop production. Cambodia has developed and increased back from the decades of civil unrest to appear because it is one of the most lively economies, persuading improving and increasing foreign investment and stock.

He also said that the officials will agree to control the flying between the two countries to urge the tourism field.

At that time, the officials of Cambodia also said that they expect Middle East governments will save because Cambodia needs the Kuwaiti experts to train the Cambodian experts on the petroleum problem and industry, that was beginning to bring root after they discovered the deposits in the bottom of the sea.
