In boxingScene.com Miguel Rivera reports that famous good-looking boxer had a clear response to the rumor of a return to the ring. Oscar De La Hoya responded shortly to the rumor that he won’t return to the ring, and he is in the good shape. The rumor of Oscar’s return started from Floyd Mayweather Sr who said that he was told about that return. Also, He added that he would be interested and happy in training Hoya again.

Since December 2008, Oscar De La Hoya has not involved in boxing on the ring. Because of being embarrassed by Manny Pacquiao, Oscar forced himself to leave the ring and quit boxing. He was out of shape and he has never had a fight with Manny. The life of Oscar’s boxing didn’t end in the good mood. Between 2004 and 2008, he had five fights but he won only two times over opponents Stevera Forbes and Richard Mayorga.

Among of five fights, he lost under the fight with Bernard Hopkins, Floyd, and Pacquiao. Currently, Oscar De La Hoya is 38 years old. Previously, he was a part-time boxer. The Golden Boy, who was the global star during 1990s and early 2000s, is not the best fighter as before but he is still a good fighter. The coach of Pacquiao said that Oscar should start his fighting career again. Interestingly, Oscar has succeeded in business through his promotional company. Even though, he has stopped his career long time ago but he is still popular. Plus, he is in the unique position as star promoter.
