Since last month, Nisa Addina, who is a violinist of Malaysian, has received three gold wards at the 2011 Performing Arts’ World Champions in Hollywood , California . This 14-year-old violinist comes originally from city of Sarawak , Kuching. Nisa took the World award’s Junior Grand Champion Instrumentalist interestingly, from 15th to 25th of July; she was a winner of both Classical Instrument and Contemporary Instrument in the championship. Being a champion winner, she feels pleased with her success and also has made Malaysia proud of her success.
Especially, she is grateful to the Foundation of Sarawak which has sponsored her for joining the competition, according to her report on Friday. Nias also said that she has had several violin classes, especially having a train with famous violist such as Idis Sardi, a popular Indonesian maestro. Also, her father, Mohd Taufik Ghani has been training her youngest son whose age is 7 by providing an introduction of playing violin. According to Nisa’s father, Nisa, who has performed in Istana Budaya, is an accomplished violinist as well as a Sarawak Symphony Orchestra‘s member.
Mother of NIsa also reported that the whole family had always given her a support. As a result, she could have a great achievement in the international music scene. Besides, musician group of Sarak Cultural villages was awarded for gold ward in category of music group at the world Champions of Performing Arts. Chief Misniter of Sarawak said that he will support continuously and guide the talented youth in order to be successful not only in sports but also in music.
